There’s going to be a few changes to the structure of the MiC Blog this year and one of those changes is that we’ll be having TWO blog hops per month to offer some inspiration based on a theme and or a new release I may have too!
Different team members will participate in the blog hop so you’ll be able to see a variety of ideas plus there will indeed be some small prizes up for grabs when you let the girls know you’ve stopped by with a comment.
This week I have hidden three gift ceritificates worth $5 each plus one extra worth $10! Winners will be announced here on the blog the following Friday (next Friday).

Design Team Call
Wow, what can I say? The applications I received this year for the DT call had my jaw dropping each and every time I opened the next email. I kept pinching myself that you wanted to be on my team! As I was going through all the applicants I was freaking out to my DT girls, not knowing what I was going to do. How do I pick from all this talent? Arghhhh!!!
I started making piles like they do on those TV shows… then I would shuffle the piles around and actually that didn’t help… haha
In the end I just had to start making decisions and as hard as they were they had to be made. I have had to turn away so much talent and I just want you all to know that I think you’re all amazing and I do hope you’ll try again.
So I did finally invite an amazing group of ladies to join the MiC family who have a wide variety of skills and talent to offer inspiration to you all.
Please welcome the new MiC DT ladies
I’ve always been creative, from woodworking, painting, and crocheting to paper arts. And there were many other crafts in between. I try not having a particular “Style” although a few of my students will call it “fussy” because of all the details.I am self-taught on all my crafts and have never taken classes myself. I research, read and watch videos to understand and then I put my own spin on a technique.
I hope I can bring you lots of inspiration! Please feel free to visit my blog @ PassionatePaperCreations.blogspot.com Inspiration comes from everywhere. Passion comes from within. -Rhea
I’ve been married to Mike Reitmeyer for 10 years now, we live in the mountains of Southern California and we have three fur-kids together. Our youngest being my licensed service dog, Sirius Lupin. I’ve been scrapbooking since June 2004. When I bought my first Copic markers in January 2011 my crafting changed dramatically from there. It opened my world to all the amazing people and images in the stamp world. I began making cards and other projects as well as my scrapping. I believe that every new project is a chance to learn and grow your talent and my favourite thing is colouring digitally crafted scenes.
When I discovered the amazing Make it Crafty stamps I was delighted. They really stepped up my crafting and the backgrounds and elements are a staple in most everything I create now. I’m SUPER excited to be part of the DT team and work with such talented people!
A little something about me:
I´m a 36 year “young” girl, going for 37 (OMG), living in Sweden with my three lovely kids and hubby.
Becoming a part of Zoe´s amazing team is a big honor and it´s going to be a wonderful and exciting journey! 🙂
I am a Registered Nurse with two kitties and my husband Joe. I have been coloring and making cards for about two years now and before that dabbled in quilting and stained glass. I love to interact with other crafty people and try to improve my coloring thru their inspiration.
I am Trudie, 37 years old and I live in the beautiful south of England along with my fiance, son and recent addition, Thomas the cat! I suffer from chronic asthma which has left me very much housebound for a lot of the year and the only thing I find any solace in is colouring and crafting. I also love to sew, bake and generally make a mess! My first love will always be colouring and have been known to sit for up to eight hours on one image alone!
I came across Make it Crafty some 18 months ago and have been a fan ever since….. I am so excited to be here and to get to play along with not only great images and products but also some of the most talented crafters out there. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone much better and improving my skills along the way. xx
My name is Bronwen, but only when I am in trouble or being professional! Generally most people call me Bron….
I am approaching my mid 30’s (eek) and have been married to my hubby for 12.5 years and together we have 2 gorgeous children a 10yo daughter and 8yo boy. We all live in a beautiful part of Victoria in Australia, called the Dandenong Ranges.
I was originally a scrapper but shifted to card making as I found I could achieve more with the small amount of spare time I had with two young children. I discovered copics about 4 years ago and if I had of known how long colouring would take I probably would have gone back to scrapbooking but once I started I feel in love with colouring and there was no way back! I find nothing more therapeutic than sitting down colouring an image and watching it come alive.
I just love all the MIC products, the originality of the images and the diversity of images cutesy, cheeky, funny…. I just adore the chipboard products they are just amazing and make the perfect embellishment for any crafting project.
I am so grateful and excited to be part of this amazing group of talented ladies and I look forward to sharing my crafting journey with you all…
My name is Stephanie Hester. I make my home in Missouri, USA, with my husband of 18 years. Together we share the love of 8 children and 20 grandchildren. Most days you can find me in my craft room surrounded by mounds of paper, embellishments and Copics. I love taking a black and white image and bringing it to life by coloring it with my Copics, such wonderful therapy.
I’m a working nana of 2 and have always had to do something creative, sewing, crochet, lead lighting, millinery, ceramics you name it, I’ve tried it (almost) I discovered papercrafts as a reluctant participant at a party plan workshop and loved that I could create personalised greeting cards. Since 2007, I’ve also discovered many techniques and products and of course my beloved Copic Markers. I find colouring to be very therapeutic and am often quite surprised at how lovely my creations turn out. I’m thrilled and so grateful to have been selected to be on the Make it Crafty design team, I’m in awe of the DT talent and hope I get to learn heaps during my time with them.
My name is Daria. I live in Russia with my husband and daughter Evelina.
Hi my name is Kathleen, or Kat for short. I live in Bonnie Scotland with my husband of 17 years, Mike and our 3 gorgeous kids. I also had another son Charlie, who was born with major health problems, he fought for life all through his short life and we sadly lost him in January 2010 at the age of 9. I miss him terribly but I feel privileged to have been his mum and I am proud of him every day. I have been blogging for a year and a half, and I have been incredibly lucky to have been asked to join some fabulous design teams. I have ‘met’ so many wonderful people in blogland. I started this blog to have a record of my creations and to keep a diary of my journey.
