Hello Hello!!
I have been asked many times if I will ever have a DT call for the Make it Colourful team and I still may in the future BUT I have been planning a NEW TEAM for the Make it Crafty Store!!
Some of the girls from the Make it Colourful team are jumping ship to the new STORE TEAM and I have THREE SPOTS LEFT!!! One of those spots could be yours!!!
The new team will be about inspiring others to love Make it Crafty products as much as you do, so it is paramount that you already love and use Make it Crafty products.
Inspiration Team Requirements
6 Month Term
2 projects per month – could be rubber stamps, emphasizing on the chipboard or a 3D kit (or new product ideas I bring out)
1 tutorial or technique to share every two months (This will replace one of your projects in a given month)
You are welcome to combine my products with other products to show the diversity.
There won’t be any challenges or any themes or any set tasks. It will simply be an inspirational post of you sharing your talent using Make it Crafty products.
You would have your set days each month to post your projects.
- Use product sent to you for your projects
- Create a post on the store blog outlining your project (Be willing to learn how to use WordPress – it’s really easy I promise!!)
- Create a post on your own blog outlining your project
- Post your project in the Private FB Group (If you have an FB account)
- Post a link to your project on the MiC main FB wall (If you have an FB account)
- Post your project to online galleries such as SCS – if you already have an account
- Participate in Store Promotional Events when applicable
Additional Promotion (Optional)
Help to promote Make it Crafty products by submitting your projects to magazines.
Extra incentives available for successful submissions.
In Return You will receive
Opportunity to be part of a fabulous established team, as both our Make it Colourful and Store team will be together in Yahoo groups.

Hi Zoe,
but hey, since i really love your digi style i will give it a shot
My name is Samantha van Velzen from the Netherlands. First time for me responding to a DT call and have never been in a DT team before as i always have the feeling i cannot live up to those high standards. Al these DT girls are marvelous creators
The greatest part of crafting for me is colouring your manga style digi’s (of course all coloured on MIC paper) and combining 2 digi’s into a little scene on my cards. Here are some of my cards.

Hi Zoe!
This is my application for the DT call – how fun is this?!
Okay to answer your questions here we go:
1. I am from Brookville, Ohio in the USA. (I live on Sweet Potato Ridge Rd. – I thought you might enjoy a bit of a giggle about that)
2. I enjoy bright, somewhat simple design. I’m actually more of a scrapbooker, but ever since I discovered Copics I’ve really gotten more into cards. For the most part you typcially won’t find too many cards that I do that won’t be colored with my Copics. I’m also a huge Tim Holtz fan.
3. Crafting allows me to use my artistic talents and do things the way I want and if it doesn’t turn out no biggy. I went to school for graphic design and illustration I think that helps with color and design as well as using my markers to the best of my ability. (I’m also Copic Certified.)
4. I adore your digi stamps – I think they would have to be my favs however, I really want to try out your “Make It Color Blending Card” and there’s some gorgeous chipboard (one of my weaknesses).
5. My love of coloring and design would be a good fit for your design team. I work well under a deadline and it would be sooo much fun to work with your images on a regular basis!
Here’s a couple of links to specfici projects on my blog as well as the link to my Ashlyn project.

Hi Zoe! I am Julie Glasgow and I am APPLYING for your design team. Here is a little bit about me.
I live in Durango, Colorado, USA. I love making cards and scrapbooks, though have been stuck on cards for some time now. Every now and then I sneak in a scrapbook page. My favorite thing about crafting has to be coloring. I love all mediums (Copics, Distress Inks, Prismacolor Pencils). I find that coloring takes me out of my day-job mind and is a great stress reliever. I just get lost in creativity when I work on a project.
I adore the stamps from Make It Crafty, especially the background digis because they are so versatile. I love that you can create an entire scene for so many different stamps. I also really like the laser-cut chipboard, though have been challenged finding laser-cut chipboard in the USA. For now, I am stuck with grunge board and die cuts.
I would like to join the Make It Crafty Design Team for a couple reasons. Of course I love the products and love to work with the digis. I have so appreciated the challenge I have received from you to improve my coloring and love to learn new coloring techniques. I know that working with you will keep me on this path of discovery. I currently serve on two design teams and love the friendships that have developed out of those teams. I appreciate the support and camaraderie that comes with being part of a team.

Best of luck in your search. I hope to hear from you in April.

Hi Zoe,
Here’s another submission for the call:
http://www.elamdesign33.blogspot.com/
Thanks!
Jodi
APPLICATION for your Design Team.
Hi Zoe, I hope I have made it in time! I reside in the UK and with time differences (isn’t it already May in Australia??) I hope I haven’t missed the deadline for the Design Team call. I love all types of crafting and have been doing it since I was a young pup of a lad but at the moment I am mad into cardmaking and I really love stamping and colouring. I use ProMarkers and Copics but mainly ProMarkers as I am a design team member for I ? ProMarkers, a small team whose raison d’etre is to push ProMarkers (Doh! I’m sure you already worked that one out eh!). I really love the products your site offers and just recently ordered some of those gloriously detailed chipboard embellies whihc were really cheap! I like to make cards with cute and cuddly designs on mostly, I’m not big into the distressed thing yet but I have all the kit and if I see something I love I always give it a go.
I love to craft because it takes me right out of myself. I have a back problem which has kept me mainly indoors for the last twelve years so it gives me the opportunity to get out of my own head and to forget what’s worrying me.
My favourite products are MIC are the backgrounds, especially the industrial set. The railings are brilliant and great to colour. I also love the houses, I have included a link to a card I made last year which a lot of people loved and I had the best time colouring, the steampunk house was perfect as a new home card and it was the amongst the first cards I made in the steampunk style, hope you like it – http://andyscraftcorner.blogspot.co.uk/2011/09/hi-de-hi-campers-well-its-been-horrible.html.
I would love to be on your design team because I would love to work with products that are head and shoulders above the rest on the market and are just brilliant to colour. I would love the chance to work with a really multi-national team and to have the chance to raise my profile on the internet as well as help raise your profile too. Any chance I get to brag about your site I already do and every time I use one of your products people can’t wait to ask where I got it from. I also think your design team could really benefit from some testosterone, I am a bit of a novelty in the craft world (apart from Tim Holtz obviously!) and I believe that my colouring is good enough to really show your images up to their very best (Check this out too http://andyscraftcorner.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/oh-lamour-whats-boy-in-love-supposed-to.html it is one of my absolute favourite cards made with your images).
So fingers crossed, hope I am lucky enough to hear from you in April,
take care,
Andy Llewelyn-Brinsley (aged 47 and 3/4)

Hi Andy,
