Hello all! Today I would like to share a simple card using one of the 5 gorgeous portraits available from the store, perfect to experiment and practise colouring! I had already coloured Ashlyn with Copics (here), and I thought I would challenge myself to see if I could do something nice with pencils, using Anastasia this time. I decided to make a very simple card to have the focus on the image, hoping it would “speak for itself”.
I used the digital image but Anastasia is also available in rubber:-). I coloured my image using Polychromos and a few Caran D’ache Luminance for the roses (just because I liked the orange shades I had). I stamped a simple “with love” sentiment and added an Ornate Corner Chipboard for a nice finishing touch. Here is a close-up of Anastasia, and I am sorry because I did not write down all my colours, I was so engrossed in colouring… I promise I’ll do better next time!
