Meet Our Guest Melissa Bove
Hi everyone!
I am super excited to be guest designing here for you today! I was thrilled when Tracy asked me! A BIG thank you to both Tracy and Zoe!
Just love the fantastic products you have in the store!! Especially the 3-D Kits! They are amazing!!
That’s why today, I will be showing you how EASY and FUN it is to make this Wishing Well! Let’s get started!!
Wishing Well-002

First assemble the kit according to the easy peasy directions! At first, it may seem like a lot of pieces, but it was so simple to put together and actually a lot of fun!

Assemble the Kit-003

Here is the assembled and raw Wishing Well. I then coated the entire piece, except for the bucket, with white acrylic paint. I then distressed it with some different shades of brown inks.

Unfinished Wishing Well-003

Then you just decorate as desired. I adhered some pink and green trim to the wishing well to act as vines with flowers. Then I adhered some paper roses, punched butterflies, pearls, more trims and ribbon, a chipboard bird, Melissa Frances rub-on transfers and some beautiful Chipboard Swirly Corners that can also be found in the Make It Crafty Store. The amount of details on both the Wishing Well and the Swirly Corners are amazing! They look so delicate but yet are very strong!

Wishing Well Roof Closeup-002

I adhered the completed Wishing Well to a large flower shaped piece of chipboard to act as a strong base.

Wishing Well Side View-003

This would make a beautiful decoration in a little girls room as well any part of a home! I am going to put a little battery operated tea light inside of the Wishing Well to act as a charming little nightlight!

Thank you much again to Zoe and Tracy for having me be a part of your team for the day! I had a blast!! And don’t forget to check out all of the new goodies in the Make It Crafty Store!

Have a sweet day!
