Just popping in to share a card I have made featuring Danni’s Little Ducks. I had coloured her previously in light blue but she didn’t match the colours I wanted to use on the card so I simply coloured right over the top of the blue with a light coloured red! The blue underneath turned a little purple and acted as my shading. That’s one of my favourite things about using Copic markers.
I wanted to feature some of the new chipboard in this card AND I just recently got a few colours of the new Distress Oxide ink pads so of course I had to try them too! I used Worn Lipstick on the flowers and Cracked Pistachio on the leaves but it was so bright! So I lightly dabbed a little Vintage Photo over the top to dull the colours and it worked a treat.
The ‘Hello’ layered word is the 2″ size and worked perfectly with the ‘smaller’ sunshine word from the Sending Adapt-a-Word chipboard set
I played around with the arrangement of everything, slowly building it up and gluing into place. I love how sweet it looks!
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
