A princess in pencils

Hello everyone! Enchanted Lands… Princesses, unicorns, castles… Have you seen the latest images? They are a girl’s dream come true! So I just had to colour a scene featuring a princess and I decided to colour it in pencils. I have already coloured a few images in pencils but had never coloured a bigger scene, I thought now was the time!

I have used the Fairest of All Princess image and Castle Hideaway background, merged in Word, printed and coloured with Faber-Castell Polychromos. The banner and sentiment are stamped in Versafine Vintage Sepia and coloured in Polychromos too. I have not taken note of all the pencils I have used for the background, but I can tell you what I used for my Princess. Close-up and recipe…

Hair: 102 Cream, 105 Light Cadmium Yellow, 182 Brown Ochre, 180 Raw Umber, 283 Burnt Sienna
