Hi everyone! It’s Sandie here and I have the PINKEST Ferris Wheel you’ll ever see to share with you today, lol. I had such amazing fun making this and my mission was to make it ‘Princess-y’ for my little girl, because let’s face it, I knew the second she laid eyes on it she would claim it.. I WAS NOT WRONG, she’s already got it!
I painted the larger parts of the wheel before assembly – my tip would be to not paint over any of the connections or mechanical parts until they are assembled, but you can paint/ink/cover the larger parts going around the connections. I first painted it with a white undercoat and then with pink paint called Timeless Fantasy.. and yes, I bought it because I loved the name!
Once it had dried I sprayed the whole thing with Spray and Sparkle so it glimmers like nobody’s business – I just can’t catch the glimmer on camera
I added some chippies, which I had painted white and onto that I adhered some flowers and leaves. I also added some white roses and ‘grass’ to the outer pillars
On the top I couldn’t resist adding some more chipboard flourishes. This looks like a Princess Carriage to me
To finish off I added some self adhesive flat-backed pearls.
