Hello everybody! It’s Franz here again to take up another Zoe’s Challenge.
Today i decided to play with my copics in a bit different way and tried to mix colours from different families. I discovered that mixing different colours instead of use shades from the same colour family, is very fun and that colours can mix and blend together in a very good way.
To try this tecnique, i choose one of the sweetest Mic Christmas image, the lovely Elise:
I coloured her pants and her jacked using some colours from the Blue-Violet family (BV) and I’ve shaded with some other ones from the Violet family (V): I’ve coloured up my image with the BV colors with shades as i normally do, then i coloured over them with the copics from the V family practicing the same shadows again.
For the t-shirt and the packet, i went with B and BG family, in this case i used a little different tecnique: i considered them as part of the same family, or rather, i used BG01, B00, BG000, B0000 in this order from the darker side to the clearest one.
I advise to try this tecnique because it’s so fun and because the result is more vibrant i think
Just below you can see the list of copics i’ve used
