Myself and the team have been so happy to see such a wonderful start to the challenges and we are excited to continue to bring you more challenges and help you step outside your comfort zone and build your confidence along the way. If you think a challenge is too hard, it’s the perfect challenge to take on as it is the ‘practise’ that is uncomfortable that truly helps to take you to the next stage of your journey. I know you can do it.
December 2017 Challenge
In this challenge I would like you to experiment with the idea of adding sparkle to your projects. You may only use colouring mediums to do this, ie: gel pens, spica pens, pencils, markers. No glitter glues or glittery products can be used.
To enter your projects you can upload the photos to your own blog post or if you do not have a blog, you are welcome to upload your photos to the Make it Crafty store gallery and link to the photo on the store website. Please enter projects via the link tool at the bottom of this blog post.
Here are some videos to help inspire you when adding glitter to your projects.
As a special treat, DT gal Markia has created a special video series and also illustrated a bauble which she has generously provided in a PDF file for you to download and follow her video tutorial.

How the challenge works:
At the start of each month a new challenge will be set and you will have the whole month to enter your projects. During the first week of the next month, the Make it Crafty design team will vote on their favourite entries and the top three will receive a $5 gift voucher to spend at the Make it Crafty store.
DESIGN TEAM INSPIRATION

All entries must include something from Make it Crafty, whether it be a digital stamp character or background, rubber stamp or even chipboard. You are able to use other brand images and as long as you incorporate something from Make it Crafty on your project, you are welcome to enter.
You must have something coloured on your project following the theme – you can use any colouring medium you like.
You do not have to complete a finished project.
This is a colouring challenge and so you are welcome to submit just colouring but please make sure it is watermarked to avoid stealing.
