I live in the South East of England, have been married for 25 years to my very understanding husband and have two annoying teenagers, my daughter just turned 20 and my son is 16.

During the day I am a Purchasing Manager and the rest of the time if I’m not at the gym, cooking or cleaning I am in my craft room playing with paper. I purchased my first stamps 2 years ago and am now totally obsessed with anything crafty and am addicted to colouring.

I am honoured to be a DT member of the Make It Crafty crew, not only are they a wonderfully inspiring group of gals that have helped me to develop my colouring skills but I have made so many lovely friends. We have such a blast behind the scenes and I am often caught out chuckling at my phone when I’m meant to be working. I am known within the team as being the Queen of embellishments and I have no idea why, lol, but maybe you are going to find out….

Maria

Visit Blog: mariasstudio.blogspot.com

Hi, my name’s Maria and I live in Ontario, Canada. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t doing something crafty but in 2008, I discovered the world of stamping, card making and blogging. My preferred colouring medium is Copics although I Iove to learn and incorporate new colouring techniques (i.e. pencils, chalk & distress inks) whenever I can.

I draw inspiration from everything around me but primarily my beautiful daughters and hubby who lovingly rolls his eyes at my obsession with pretty paper and cutesy images ~ lol.

A huge thanks to Zoe for the opportunity to be part of her wonderful design team and for another creative adventure where the sky’s the limit. Hugs, Maria

Jane

Hello there, my name is Jane, I am a farmer’s wife, mum to a teenage son and live in Bedfordshire, England.

I have drawn, painted and generally created since I was old enough to hold a pencil, progressing from scribbles to Disney characters and then portraiture in both pencil and watercolour. I have even designed craft dies and and of late I’ve been honing my colouring skills with the aid of my trusty colouring pencils and Copic markers.

Since joining this amazing group of girls I have learnt so much ……………… you’ll see what I mean as we share with you tips, tricks and even the odd blooper, yep we make them too!!

Colleen

Blog: www.distinctivetouches.com Hi, my name is Colleen and I’m an author, artist, instructor, and color addict! LOL

I grew up with a love for all things colorful and I am blessed to have incorporated that love into a job. After teaching high school and college level English for 12 years, I “retired” to explore the world of creative arts. I launched my new career by teaching on-line classes and eventually became a Regional Copic Certification Instructor for North America. I enjoy traveling all across the country teaching certification classes, workshops, doing demos and working at industry trade shows.

When I’m not traveling and teaching, you can find me in my office writing. I’m co-author of the Copic Coloring Guide series and author of a number of Copic technique articles for CardMaker magazine.

I’m super excited to be part of the Make It Crafty Colorful Inspiration team. It’s a chance to color some amazingly cute images, share tips and techniques, and inspire others .

I am based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 28 years and we have 2 gorgeous, but cheeky, children together – a 20yo daughter and a 13yo boy.

I enjoy all kinds of craft and have become a bit of an obsessive stamper lately. I am extremely proud to be a part of this amazing team of crafters.

These gals are wonderfully talented and oh so generous with sharing their skills and ideas. And thanx to Zoe for pulling us together to create with Make it Crafty’s fabulous range of products.

Viv

My name is Viv Pert and I live in Hawera, in beautiful New Zealand, close to a snowy mountain and the west coast beaches. I live with my partner of 20 years and our 2 poodles, 1 golden retriever, a ginger cat, 6 motorbikes (his!) and our VW Kombi. I work 3 days a week as a pharmacist, and the rest of the time I train my dogs in agility, make cards, read, cook, walk dogs , brush dogs, clip dogs, make more cards…….. notice any themes here?!!!!

I have a serious paper addiction, and a never-ending desire to buy more of everything! I started with rubberstamps and now use more digital stamps, as they are so much easier to store and you can get them almost instantly. I like to use copics mainly with some pencil colouring too, now that I have a large set of polychromos to play with. I have a dedicated room for all my stash, and my dogs all join me in there while I’m playing, gets a bit crowded sometimes but I love their company.

I LOVE being part of the fabulous MIC team, so many talented and lovely people , with my absolute favourite stamps and chipboard to play with.

Sandie

Visit Blog: sandieshores.blogspot.com

Hi!! My name is Sandie and I live in Southern Ireland with my husband. I left my job as a web designer in 2004 and became a SAHM to our 4 kidlets who now range in age between 6 and 19. I was a doodler in school and I loved to make silly little things with paper – especially my school books :/ I was first introduced to scrapbooking in 2006 when my daughter was born. From there it progressed to mini albums and eventually I bought my first image stamp in 2008 – the rest, as they say, is history!

My preferred colouring mediums are copic markers and distress inks but I also dabble with pencils, chalks & watercolours. I am very much a flowers and pearls girl and love to use loads of bling on my crafts. I am also a patterened paper fanatic (read hoarder!)

I am honoured to be “working” ;) alongside some amazingly talented crafters on the Make it Crafty Store DT

Alyce

Visit Blog: kitandclowder.blogspot.com

Hi everyone! My name is Alyce and I am so excited to be joining Make it Crafty as a design team member! I have a real passion for crafting and am always spending my spare time making something.

For my day job I am a full time interior designer, but I have found that crafting is a great avenue to explore my creativity. My background in design has always had me experimenting with different techniques and concepts, and one thing led to another and I found copic markers and card making – my two loves!

My partner and I have no children, though we do have a little fluffball that gets all of our love and attention – and gets spoilt rotten! hehe :) I live in Australia, and my work can be seen at kitandclowder.blogspot.com. Feel free to stop by and leave a little love :)

Howdy! I reside in the beautiful mountain town of Durango, Colorado.

I started my crafting journey 15 years ago. I started with scrapbooking and quickly added stamping and card making. My first card was a simple white 4-1/2 x 5-1/2 card with a single stamp of Button Bear and a little chalk. Over the years I have fallen in love with the art of coloring.

I still can’t believe I was chosen to join the incredible group of artists at Make It Crafty from whom I have learned so much! I hope I can pass along some of this inspiration to you.

I would love for you to visit my blog, Stampin’ Cabin, at www.stampwithjulie.com

Carole

Blog: applesandpearscards.blogspot.com

Hi, I’m Carole, and I live in the UK. I’ve been a cardmaker for a few years and this is how I discovered stamped images and through that my latest love….colouring!

I still can’t quite believe I’m here as a colouring DT member because at school I was rubbish at art – literally the bottom of the class! But I guess it shows that it’s never too late to develop some artistic ability and learn a new skill.

What I like most about crafting is the therapeutic value of messing about with paper and glue, and the chance to be a little bit artistic with markers and pencils. Plus, I’ve loved being part of the crafting community – it’s the friendliest, most generous group of people I’ve known. I’ve always said that crafting brings out the best in us, and I still believe that.

Being on the team here at Make It Crafty has been a challenge, but a really rewarding one as I’ve seen myself grow, gained a great deal of satisfaction and learned such a lot.

I am finding some awesome digi stamps out there and Make It Crafty is among the top with Zoe’s stunning images and yummy chipboard. I love and are honored to be on the MIC colouring team along with other very talented ladies.. nothing like a bit of pressure to perform! I and finding MIC is a great place to push the limits and in doing so you get to learn so much more.
I do hope you all find MIC as inspirational as I do.

Hello my full name is Ruby Montes, but most blog friends call me Rube or Rubes :)

I live in the suburbs of Chicago, IL in the U.S with a partial soccer team of 4 kids. I have one son, three daughters and a very loving husband.

I am a crafter and colouring enthusiast. Crafting for me is the outlet I need to relax and have some “me-time”

Watercolouring is a favorite technique of mine but colouring with my copics and Letrasets is my passion. I also love doing scenery cards because I like to share stories with my color images. I also take pride in my ability to create lovely cards that enhance the image I showcase.

I have to say designing for the Make It Crafty team has been a privileged and honor to be working along side a talented group of such mad colouring skills, ultimate crafters and sweet loving friends wanting to share all their tips, tricks and coffee spurts :)

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my crafting passion with the rest of the team and MIC followers/fans.

LOVE YA’S

Ruby

Franz

Blog: fran-z-blog.blogspot.it

Hello everybody!

My name is Francesca aka Franz. I live in central Italy and I’m Andrea’s wife and mum to two little pests called Nicolò and Camilla; Nicolò is four and a half and Camilla is two and a little more then a half. :)

I started crafting less than two years ago. One of my friends talked to me about scrapbooking and to understand more about it, I typed this strange word on my computer and…a new world opened to my eyes! I was particularly fascinated by cards, images and colouring. Since then I’ve never stopped to create whenever I can!
I’m completely addicted to colouring, it relaxes me so much and I love both Copics and Distress Inks, but I’d like to try pencils too, soon or late!

I’m a “night scrapper”: every night, when my little children are sleeping, I open my scrap-cabinet and pull out all my craft things, when it’s time to go to bed (and for me is never now when I’m crafting!) I patiently put everything away again in right order inside my cabinet, so I generally go to sleep terribly late!

I love Mic products and I’m so proud and excited to be part of this amazing team and a little scared too! My teamies are so talented people!

Hi from sunny Florida! I’m a working mom with a darling daughter, aka Peanut, and homemaker hubby. I love to craft, read, and travel.

My mum is Chinese and my dad part English and Portuguese. I was born in Hong Kong and came to England when I was 2 years old. I now live in a small village in East Sussex with my husband Steve who I have been with for over 14 years and have two Yellow Labradors called Poppy and Lulu. Most of all we love going for long walks along the coast and spending time with family.

Workwise, I am a senior project manager based in Central London for a large corporate company – which means I have the discipline to juggle my life with lots of creating in the evening! I feel extremely privileged to be on the Make It Crafty team – these girls are seriously talented! And fun to work with too!

I found cardmaking through a friend several years ago and I’ve now got the crafting bug BIG time! I started my own blog in July 2009 as a way to challenge myself – I like to experiment, using different styles, mediums and techniques. My favorite has to be stamping though – as my husband says, “Are you colouring in again?” cheeky so and so…

I’ve always been creative, from woodworking, painting, and crocheting to paper arts. And there were many other crafts in between. I try not having a particular “Style” although a few of my students will call it “fussy” because of all the details.I am self-taught on all my crafts and have never taken classes myself. I research, read and watch videos to understand and then I put my own spin on a technique.

I hope I can bring you lots of inspiration! Please feel free to visit my blog @ PassionatePaperCreations.blogspot.com Inspiration comes from everywhere. Passion comes from within. -Rhea
