I chose the Witchy Wanda digi stamp for today’s card, and to keep the layout “clean and simple,” I limited myself to one piece of patterned paper for the background. I stamped the sentiment on a circle of white cardstock so it looked like the moon and added a thin layer of glitter glue for a bit of sparkle.
I’ve noticed a few people asking in the MiC Facebook Group if their cards are considered Clean and Simple, so I thought it might help if I shared my take on CAS. When I make CAS cards, I rarely add embellishments. I limit the number of patterned papers that I use (if I use any), and I try to keep the focus of the card front on the main image. If I want to add an embellishment, but think it might be “too much,” I usually don’t add it.
